In the resource board, when you filter on resource name, you can set the condition to [Current user]. This makes it easy to create one view and re-use across other users, which decreases the number of views to be created to accomplish that everyone can see their own specific data.

Add this [Current user] option to the following fields:

• Project manager
• Backup project manager

In addition: add "Department manager" as an extra field in resource views that should also have the [Current user] option.
