As part of replacing old technology, we will rebuild the start page in our new technology stack. We will take the opportunity to implement a couple of improvements. Alert section
We are introducing an alert section that will give personal alerts to users on actions they need to take. They range from actions they need to take like approving requests, conflicts in the schedule to tips for optimizing the setup of your account (e.g. projects that haven't been used for a long time and should be set to inactive). These alerts will automatically disappear once they are done and users can also snooze them.
Widgets
In the new design, the widgets will be re-introduced, but this time with more features to customize them. Here are some of the new features:
- Define more than 6 widgets (current limit)
- Widget for project performance
- Ability to define the measures you want to have displayed
- See data throughout a period of time
