A search feature in the planning board like Google Calendar and Apple Calendar have. You can then search for a piece of text and all bookings that match it will appear in a list. The text being searched for can appear in the project, activity, location, description, etc. If you click on one of the search results in the list, the planning board will navigate to that day and the booking will be visually highlighted.
